Academe VS Industry

In the Philippines, the standard of education has declined.
Quality education is one that prepare students for their respective careers  at the end of 15 or 16 years of journey.
For such a long journey, students, well at least those who have set their minds in evolution & ambition, wants to have the feel of achievement. One that they can proudly say, "all the hard work has been worth it".
I for one, cannot say that. I feel back stabbed & robbed by the academe, specifically college.

Such quality education could only be within grasp if you're a graduate of the top universities such as UP, DLSU, UST, FEU, & others that present their might & influence on media. You've go to bust your pockets to be in one by the way.
For the rest of the universities & colleges here, education is a business, an oligarchy, where only a few benefits, where financial stability is the priority all else are circumstantial.

I feel defeated after I've graduated.
Having call center companies as the most available option for a job for me, is a waste of my  18 years or preparation. Money is fast but the passion is stuck at the starting point of the race.

I struggle to find an entry level job that's willing to train fresh graduates from my chosen course. I know what job I should be doing & I know it will spark the passion that is slowly being engulfed in the sands of time.
If not, I would just have to get a part-time job & enroll short courses to be recognized in the industry.

Academe & Industry are not relational at all from before up to this point in time.
To future students, be aware of everything around you. You will find yourselves in a pretty fickle situation, hope you'll have the sensibiity to make the right choice to not waste your time.
